During our time we will examine current practices, plan for change, and celebrate successes. Early Education success involves a range of important considerations such as classroom environment, loose parts, play, routine, transitions, relationships, connections, and much more. We will look at ten imperative considerations that support powerful programming in Early Education classrooms.
Suzy Potts is currently the Coordinator of Early Learning with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools. Before becoming the Coordinator of Early Learning, Suzy held the position of Early Learning Lead Teacher with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools and taught with St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Schools in Lacombe and Beaumont. Suzy holds a Bachelor of Education in Special Education and a Master of Educational Psychology from the University of Alberta.Jennifer Smith
Jennifer Smith is the Early Learning Lead Teacher with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools. Jennifer has taught Kindergarten and Grade one with Red Deer Catholic School District and before that she taught with St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Schools in Beaumont. Jennifer holds an Early Childhood Development Diploma from Red Deer College, a Bachelor of Education with a minor in Early Education from the University of Alberta, as well as a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Seattle.Melissa Jawaorski
Melissa Jaworski is an Early Learning Lead Teacher with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools. Melissa has taught all grades from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 in her teaching career within a variety of school divisions including Northern Lights School Division, Grande Yellowhead School Division, Wolf Creek Public Schools, and St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School Division. Melissa completed her Bachelor of Arts Education Degree through the University of Regina and is currently working on completing the Early Childhood Program through the University of Alberta.

If you are unable to attend a session and unable to provide three FULL business days’ notice, please feel free to delegate an alternate to attend in your place.
