About the Session:

Prerequisites

The following are the prerequisites that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:

  1. You must bring your valid/current Standard First Aid or Re-Certified Standard First Aid certificate to the course.
  2. You are permitted to attend a recertification course if the recertification course is prior to your expiry date on the card.
  3. Emergency First Aid does not qualify for Re-Certification.

This course is to ensure your continued certification in First Aid & CPR. This course covers a variety of topics for review and understanding of the curriculum changes in last three years. From basic such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level C, AED, prevention of disease transmission to review topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.

Ken Rohr:

  • First Aid Instructor with the Canadian Red Cross since 2008.
  • Owner and operator of Safety Starts Here Inc. in Camrose AB.
  • Teaches on average 50 sessions per year.
  • Has a client list that includes Doctors, nurses, care givers, teachers, oil and gas employees and the list goes on.
  • Has done many group training sessions and has been able to assist organizations with their training and supplies needs in the area of First Aid.
Cancellation Policy:

Request for cancellation or refund must be received in writing (fax/email) at the CARC office a minimum of 3 FULL business days prior to the event start, or registration fees will apply and refunds will not be issued. If you are unable to attend a session and unable to provide three FULL business days’ notice, please feel free to delegate an alternate to attend in your place.
