What does this look like?
Heather Linski has been a K-12 educator for over 25 years; the past 15 working with complex children and youth. She was the resource teacher for a District Behaviour program, and a District Low Incidence program, as well as teaching in a program for Young Offenders. Most recently she was the Principal of Horizon School, a District Office Coordinator for Autism/Low Incidence and a sessional EA instructor at Red Deer College. Heather holds a B.A. (Psych), B. Ed, and M. Ed (Special Ed.) with a focus in Autism. She has had advanced training at University of North Carolina TEACCH centers, and has implemented school and home-based autism programs for pre-schoolers to adults on the spectrum. In addition, Heather is a certified Trainer for the internationally acclaimed; Studio III-Low Arousal Autism/Behaviour Management program and a certified Neufeld Institute Instructor. Heather currently lives in Red Deer with her husband, and 2 daughters.
Request for cancellation or refund must be received in writing (fax/email) at the CARC office a minimum of 7 FULL days prior to the event start, or registration fees will apply and refunds will not be issued. If you are unable to attend a session and unable to provide seven FULL days’ notice, please feel free to delegate an alternate to attend in your place. CARC also reserves the right to cancel an event within the 7 calendar days due to unforeseen circumstances such as facility closures, terrorist threats, natural disasters or extreme inclement weather (-35 C or colder).
