Join B.C. educator and author, Adrienne Gear for a dynamic and practical workshop on Writing Power. In this session, Adrienne will share her ideas for setting up an effective process-based writing program that includes weekly practice writes, writing goals, mini lessons and editing and conferencing tips. She will also share her ideas around effective, formative assessment and conferencing strategies. Adrienne will model lessons, share student samples and, as always, share her favorite anchor books for inspiring students to write. Come to this session and leave with lessons you can use in your classroom tomorrow.
