About the Session:

Reading Comprehension Success! - For Parents

Reading comprehension success on reading assessments consists of skills, which are required throughout each student’s learning. Questions on reading tests not only assess a student’s reading capability but also their reading skills. These skills are needed to read each reading passage successfully but more so, to be able to analyze each question and determine which skill is required to successfully answer each question.

There are many processes and practices a student can do at home to help them achieve their highest level of achievement on reading comprehension tests. This workshop will introduce and explain the 5 reading comprehension skills and provide tools and practices to use at home to support each child's rading path to success.
