Calgary Regional Consortium (CRC), on behalf of Alberta Regional Professional Development Consortium (ARPDC) is pleased to announce an interactive e-workshop entitled Literacy & Numeracy Progressions.
Designed to build awareness and understanding for educational staff related to the new literacy and numeracy progressions, this e-workshop is accessible 24-7 to accommodate the busy schedule of educators and educational staff.

After completion of the criteria outlined in the "Course Overview" tab, participants will earn a Certificate of Completion. Completion of the required components will take approximately 10 to 12 hours in total, and must be completed prior to the session end date. Alternatively, participants can also choose to explore the e-workshop materials at their own pace, to suit their own personal needs, instead of working towards a certificate.
is a Designer of Professional Learning with the Calgary Regional Consortium. Her areas of focus include literacy and inclusive education. Kim’s teaching career spans over 28 years, ten as a classroom teacher at Foothills Academy Society, a school specializing in children with Learning Disabilities and ADHD. Kim has designed several e-learning courses for teachers, titles include Learning Disabilities and Introduction to Literacy and Numeracy Progressions. She is passionate about coaching educators, particularly when they are focused on supporting struggling readers. Apart from the Founder, Dr. Rick Freeze, she is the sole Precision Reading presenter in North America.
Request for cancellation or refund must be received in writing (fax/email) at the CARC office a minimum of 7 FULL days prior to the event start, or registration fees will apply and refunds will not be issued. If you are unable to attend a session and unable to provide seven FULL days’ notice, please feel free to delegate an alternate to attend in your place. CARC also reserves the right to cancel an event within the 7 calendar days due to unforeseen circumstances such as facility closures, terrorist threats, natural disasters or extreme inclement weather (-35 C or colder). This self-paced course will be open from January 9 - March 9, 2020. To receive a certificate of completion, participants must complete course work during this time frame. Total completion time will vary for individuals dependent on level of participation within the course.|
