About the Session:

First Aid & CPR techniques for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home. The course covers a variety of topics from basic such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level C, AED, prevention of disease transmission to in-depth topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.

Ken Rohr:

  • First Aid Instructor with the Canadian Red Cross since 2008.
  • Owner and operator of Safety Starts Here Inc. in Camrose AB.
  • Teaches on average 50 sessions per year.
  • Has a client list that includes Doctors, nurses, care givers, teachers, oil and gas employees and the list goes on.
  • Has done many group training sessions and has been able to assist organizations with their training and supplies needs in the area of First Aid.
Cancellation Policy:

Request for cancellation or refund must be received in writing (fax/email) at the CARC office a minimum of 7 FULL days prior to the event start, or registration fees will apply and refunds will not be issued. If you are unable to attend a session and unable to provide seven FULL days’ notice, please feel free to delegate an alternate to attend in your place. CARC also reserves the right to cancel an event within the 7 calendar days due to unforeseen circumstances such as facility closures, terrorist threats, natural disasters or extreme inclement weather (-35 C or colder). Cancellation notices should be sent to npenney@carcpd.ab.ca.
