Elyse Morin

Elyse Morin is currently teaching French Immersion kindergarten at École Rocky Elementary where she is also the French Immersion leader. Last year, she developed and implemented the  French Pre-k discovery program at École Rocky Elementary, a play-based program where children are gently exposed to the French language. Prior to joining the education field, she worked as a Clinical Social Worker and play therapist, specializing in the area of trauma, attachment and child development.  She believes that play is the work of art of children and this is how they make sense and master the world around them. As a result, play is central to her teaching.
