About this Learning Opportunity

Our internal environment is often reflective of what is happening in the external environment. In this workshop, Tania Johnson will explore the connection between the classroom environment and mental health. Participants will be introduced to the psychology of colour, lighting, ventilation, temperature  and seating. The workshop will also look at the impact of noise and clutter on optimal functioning. At the end of this workshop, participants will have a toolbox of strategies that they can implement immediately to enhance mental health in the classroom.

This learning opportunity is being subsidized through funding from Alberta Education.
