About this Learning Opportunity

f you want to support transgender students, but you’re not quite sure where to start, this is the session is for you! This welcoming and non-judgemental workshop is designed for people who really want to be a good ally, but feel a bit uncertain about how to turn their positive intentions into tangible actions.

This session will cover topics such as key gender terminology, navigating pronoun use, coping with discomfort, and other practical skills for supporting transgender and gender-diverse students in school settings. Participants will leave feeling more knowledgeable, comfortable, and skilled — and, hopefully, inspired!

This learning opportunity is being subsidized through funding from Alberta Education.
