About this Learning Opportunity

Three Part Literacy Assessment Series: Engaging in Literacy Assessment:

1. Strategies for Assessing Readers & Writers Remotely & In Person

2. I've Assessed; Now What?

3. It's Assessment Time Again!

You're wanting to keep up on your students' progress, as well as establish baseline data, but how do you do this when you're in a remote learning environment or do not see your students in person as regularly as you typically would? Learn how to obtain beginning of the year literacy data, and how to analyse and utilize the data during collaborative team meetings to get universal and targeted supports in place quickly. This 3 part series will take you through the assessment cycle with suggestions for this year's unique circumstances.

This learning opportunity is being subsidized through funding from Alberta Education.
