About this Learning Opportunity
The importance of maintaining workplace connection during a time of crisis cannot be overstated. With educators and students at a distance both physically and socially it can be difficult to maintain and continue to build engagement and resilience. It is easy to break connection and survive at this moment, let us show you how to Brave Connection and thrive. This online course is intended for those who want to both maintain and continue to grow connection during unprecedented times of change.
Learning outcomes:
- Assess your workplace culture at this moment: What are our teams feeling, hearing, seeing, seeking? What is the effect of fear and vulnerability on connection and relaunching or recreating your classrooms?
- Examine and learn how to support your employees, colleagues and students to return and grow based on their needs, strengths, and experiences.
- Learn how to maintain a connected culture by acknowledging difference and diverse ways of coping as a strength.
- Identify the physiological, social and intellectual need to return to and indulge in play in order to strengthen, innovate, and diversify our workplace culture during change and challenge.
- Discover how to use play to build connection and enhance mental and physical wellness during times of change and challenge.

Brandi possesses exceptional academic qualifications including a Master of Arts in Physical Education/Special Education and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta with certification in Foundations of Play Therapy and Advanced Theory & Techniques in Play Therapy. She is also an out-of-the-box, visionary thinker committed to driving diversity goals, boosting awareness and building organizational competency.
