About this Learning Opportunity
This session will provide school teams with the strategies and understanding of how to program and support students with diverse learning needs including autism spectrum disorder. Through shifting perspectives from behaviour management to emotional regulation, attendees will build a tool box of strategies to support a variety of students and their unique strengths and interests in the classroom setting. This is a strategy focused session with opportunities to share ideas, ask questions and further understanding on universal and targeted ways to support students this school year.
This session will focus on Early Childhood Pre K / K.

About the Facilitator
Kelsey Penney
Kelsey Penney has been working with Children’s Autism Services of Edmonton for the past 10 years as an education consultant. Kelsey has worked with teachers and educational assistants to support students with Autism in inclusive and specialized school settings from early education to high school.
