About this learning opportunity

"Do your classrooms or schools need help ensuring a safe and caring environment so all learners can thrive? Teachers feeling discouraged and searching for solutions for acute and chronic behaviour concerns? This series will start by providing participants with an overview of a model that focuses specifically on building a structure that identifies and organizes existing school-wide processes to ensure a safe and caring environment. Then we willl focus on each of the 10 components with activities, discussions and resources.

About the facilitator(s)

Learning Associate - Jigsaw Learning Collette brings over twenty years experience as an educator from preschool to the post-secondary level. She specializes in working collaboratively with administrators, teachers and educational assistants in building capacity through collaboration to develop authentic inclusive learning environments. She has a passion for leveraging technology to support students, teachers and administrators in their work in both face to face and online learning environments. Collette is passionate about learning and working with school partners in developing strategic plans to support all students within the framework of collaborative response.
